Doll Pajama Party…

One of my greatest loves of sewing is making doll clothing. I spent a few hours this past week working on some doll outfits which included a few sets of pajamas using some of my adorable print quilting fabrics. It can be a little tedious when sewing such small clothing but for some reason it's very relaxing for me to work on these little outfits.

My advice when sewing the quarter inch seams required for the outfits is to use your quarter inch foot often used when sewing quilts. It also helps to trace the pattern out onto the fabric and then cut a larger seam allowance to sew and then trim down. I finish all the seams and sew these doll clothes as if they were going to be worn by a human being. I also love using some of my decorative stitches fo embellish the outfits. All the pockets on the pajamas are actual working pockets which I love! Hope you enjoy the pictures. I'll be adding them plus more to my shop.

The unicorn and puppy dog fabric came from a shop I found located in South Korea. They have such cute choices! And I love the little hamburgers and hot dogs on the fabric I found at my local JoAnns. Another favorite of sewing is finding all the wonderful fabrics available!
